"Beginnings"

This is a clip of the solo section of "Beginnings" by one of my all-time favorite bands, Chicago. Recorded in September 2019 by The Rhythm Shop in East Hanover, NJ, it features solos by myself and the great NYC-based trumpeter, Brad Mason. "Beginnings" was composed by Robert Lamm.

"A Night in Tunisia"

Here is a clip of my solo on Dizzy Gillespie's "A Night in Tunisia" with the Carl Fischer Nouveau Big Band. The clip also includes the band soli. Taken from a performance at the 9th Annual Scranton Jazz Festival in Scranton, PA, August 2013.

"On the Street Where You Live"

Here's a feature that I play from time to time with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra conducted by Buddy Morrow. The track was recorded live in November 2009. The tune was written by Frederick Loewe and Alan Jay Lerner for the 1956 broadway show, My Fair Lady. The arrangement is by Ed Gaston.

"Marie"

Here's another feature, this time on a Tommy Dorsey classic. This track was recorded live in November 2009 with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra conducted by Buddy Morrow. This track also features vocalist, Nick Hilscher, Matt Cowan on tenor sax, the trumpet section: Hardin Butcher, Ed Gaston, Mark Gosiewski, and Dick Prestage as well as some spirited vocals by the entire band.
