A Night in Tunisia

Here is a clip of my solo on Dizzy Gillespie's "A Night in Tunisia" with the Carl Fischer Nouveau Big Band. The clip also includes the band soli. Taken from a performance at the 9th Annual Scranton Jazz Festival in Scranton, PA, August 2013.

Frosty the Snowman

Here is my arrangement of this holiday favorite written by Jack Rollins and Steve Nelson. I overdubbed all of the trombone parts and played the bass trombone part on bass guitar. I wrote this arrangement in the fall of 2003 while I was a student at YSU and I made this recording in December 2007. Merry Christmas!

On the Street Where You Live

Here's a feature that I play from time to time with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra conducted by Buddy Morrow. The track was recorded live in November 2009. The tune was written by Frederick Loewe and Alan Jay Lerner for the 1956 broadway show, My Fair Lady. The arrangement is by Ed Gaston.

Marie

Here's another feature, this time on a Tommy Dorsey classic. This track was recorded live in November 2009 with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra conducted by Buddy Morrow. This track also features vocalist, Nick Hilscher, Matt Cowan on tenor sax, the trumpet section: Hardin Butcher, Ed Gaston, Mark Gosiewski, and Dick Prestage as well as some spirited vocals by the entire band.
